Political Design Work – Appropriate a Day Before the Election Don’t You Think?

Being the day before the big election I found it fitting to share some political work of my own.   It’s not on the national stage mind you, but of a local race here in Indiana for State Representative.   The gentleman running for office I’ve known for over a decade since our days back in the fraternity house.  When he approached me back in early February to lend my services I was more than happy to help.

So check out some political work done by LeFors Design. Trust me when I say its not your typical campaign material. Design elements range from social media to traditional print material.  I’ve provided the link to the whole album below.

Facebook Store, The Want Button, Twitter’s Ad Platform, & the Mobile Election

An interesting podcast regarding the continued influence of social media…from advertising to politics, 2nd screen viewing, Twitter’s new Nielsen Brand Impact poll (interesting), and so much more.

Created by the group SoLoMo (Social Location Mobile), the podcast is about an hour long, and filled with a lot of info…but it’s a good listen.

Reminds me of the days when I tried my hands at podcasting 5 years ago.

The Super Bowl & Social Media…plus a few more pics

A great wrap up of Super Bowl in Indianapolis, from the online world point of view, as presented by Exact Target.  The ability to get such a clear snapshot of an event as big as the Super Bowl, with this short of a turn around, is a great testament to the power of online media.  Check out the stats.
